Collection of Information and Your Privacy Rights
What information we collect and how we collect it.
1.1 User Information. My Home Screen Apps collects information from you when you voluntarily provide it to My Home Screen Apps or one of its partners, through websites (owned and operated by My Home Screen Apps or a third party); social networking, mobile, and other applications providers or other means (together, these sources are referenced hereafter as “Publishers”), which may include, without limitation, through online or offline surveys, order forms, or registration pages operated by us or third parties (collectively, a “User Form”). In a User Form, My Home Screen Apps or a third party may offer you incentives in exchange for providing information about yourself such as name, email address, street address, zip code, telephone numbers, birth date, gender, salary range, education and marital status, occupation, employment information, and personal and online interests (together, “User Information”). Completing the User Form is voluntary and you are under no obligation to provide User Information.
1.2 Device Information. My Home Screen Apps collects device (such as mobile phone, computer, or tablet) specific information when you use the Services, which may include but not be limited to, device unique identifier; operating system version; Bluetooth settings; internet connection; and mobile network or other mobile device information, such as phone number, country code, brand, model, call information, resolution, screen size, RAM, history, apps installed, apps running in background, and notifications displayed on your mobile device. We, or third party service providers who we use to provide services on our behalf, may also collect information such as location data (which may be precise or imprecise), voice and text search queries, and whether your device is powered on or off. The information referenced in this Section is, together, “Device Information.”
1.3 Device Access. If granted permission by a user, My Home Screen Apps uses access to a device's microphone to facilitate voice-enabled search queries and may access your device’s camera, photos, media, and other files. interaction and access to the microphone is user-initiated, and voice queries are not shared with third party apps or providers unless you consent to such.
1.4 User Behaviors Collected with Cookies, Web Beacons, and Other Information. My Home Screen Apps collects information regarding your use of the Service, such as search queries. My Home Screen Apps uses cookie and web beacon technology to associate certain Internet-related information about you, such as your Internet Protocol address and what Web browser you are using, with certain of your online behaviors, such as opening or clicking on a particular online advertisement. In addition to the foregoing-referenced technology, My Home Screen Apps may use other new and evolving sources of information and information gathering in the future (together, “Technology Information”).
(b) Web beacons. A web beacon is programming code used to display an image on a web page and can also transfer an individual’s user identification to a database and associate the individual with previously acquired information about the individual. Web beacons enable My Home Screen Apps to track certain Web sites you visit or advertisements you view online. Web beacons help determine products or services in which you may be interested and help track online behaviors for marketing purposes. (c) Where Technology Information is Collected. Technology Information is collected directly from My Home Screen Apps advertisements or indirectly through Publishers that My Home Screen Apps contracts with to display advertisements. Such advertisements will usually be displayed within one of the following advertising vehicles:
Websites. My Home Screen Apps may set a cookie on your device when you view advertisements delivered through our Service or on Publisher websites. After a cookie is set, My Home Screen Apps may track how you interact with the advertisement and the Services or Publisher website (for example, registering, purchasing, browsing, etc.).
Software Programs. Similar to Websites, My Home Screen Apps displays banner advertisements in software programs that you may use.
1.5 Outside Information. My Home Screen Apps may lawfully receive information about you from third parties, such as information located in public databases (“Outside Information”).
1.6 No Information Collected from Minors. MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 SHOULD NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, INCLUDING THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS, TO My Home Screen Apps. If My Home Screen Apps is notified it has personal information about a minor under the age of 18, that information will be promptly deleted from our database.
1.7 Individual Information. As used herein, “Individual Information” means User Information, Device Information, Technology Information, Outside Information, and any other information My Home Screen Apps lawfully obtains about you.
Use of Information and User Data
How we use and share the information we collect.
2.1 Discretion to Use Information. Information voluntarily provided to My Home Screen Apps or lawfully obtained by My Home Screen Apps is the property of My Home Screen Apps and may be used by My Home Screen Apps for any lawful purpose, including the sale, lease or transfer of the information to Publishers, advertisers and data aggregators, for marketing purposes.
- The App will only use access to read, write, modify, or control Gmail message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide a web email client that allows users to compose, send, read, and process emails and will not transfer this Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- The App will not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements.
- The App will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for the App's internal operations and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.
2.3 Targeted Advertising and Information. My Home Screen Apps does not use your Google User Data to target, serve, or otherwise identify an individual to serve advertisements. Exclusive of Google User Data, My Home Screen Apps uses anonymous Individual Information to target advertising and other information more effectively. When an individual is online, My Home Screen Apps uses App interactions and Technology Information such as cookies to associate an individual with their Individual Information and My Home Screen Apps attempts to show information and advertising for products and services to which the person may respond or find useful. My Home Screen Apps may use data collected from a response to one type of advertising or information for targeting advertisements or other information through a different venue. For example, My Home Screen Apps may notice that you responded to a baseball banner advertisement and use that response to deliver a baseball-related advertisement and other information to you.
2.4 Service Providers. Individual Information may be disclosed to third parties who are performing services on our behalf (which may include, without limitation, collecting data from Publishers).
2.5 Legal Process. My Home Screen Apps may disclose Individual Information to respond to subpoenas, court orders and other legal process as required by law.
2.6 Summary Data. My Home Screen Apps may sell or transfer non-individualized information, such as summary or aggregated anonymous information about all persons or sub-groups of persons.
2.7 Business Transition. My Home Screen Apps may transfer all or part of your Individual Information as part of a business transition such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
How we store and protect the information we receive.
2.8 Storage of Individual Information. My Home Screen Apps stores Individual Information in a database on My Home Screen Apps computers. My Home Screen Apps’s computers have security measures, such as a firewall, to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under My Home Screen Apps’s control. My Home Screen Apps also maintains physical and procedural safeguards to protect Individual Information. Notwithstanding such measures, My Home Screen Apps cannot guarantee that its security measures will prevent these computers from being illegally accessed and the Individual Information on them stolen or altered.
Privacy Practices of Third Parties.
3.2 Links. The Services may contain hypertext links to the Websites of third parties. My Home Screen Apps is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other Websites.
3.3 Affiliated Companies that are not Publishers. My Home Screen Apps may disclose or transfer Individual Information to wholly-owned or controlled My Home Screen Apps entities in My Home Screen Apps’s discretion.
How You May Exercise Your Privacy Rights.
4.1 Websites. To prevent the display of Publisher or My Home Screen Apps advertising on a Website, for example, banner advertisements, do not visit the Website. To only prevent My Home Screen Apps from tracking your behavior on a Website, turn off cookies from that Website and do not click on or interact with any advertisements. My Home Screen Apps does not have a mechanism or process to respond to any “do not track” signals which a web browser may send or receive, other than as described in this section.
4.2 Android Applications. To remove My Home Screen Apps applications from an Android phone, remove the application may be performed in your Android device's system settings.
4.3 Cookies. Check instructions about your web browser to learn how to prevent placement of, or how to remove, cookies placed on your Android Phones by My Home Screen Apps.
